First off, let me introduce myself. My name is Rick. I am 35 and live in Tunbridge Wells, where I was born. I returned to Tunbridge Wells in '98 after spending about 10 years living in Burnley, Lancashire - what a dump!

My main interest is IT & has been for about 20 years. I also have other interests but none that involve me in the way computers do. Other interests include listening to & making music (I play guitar & sing), socialising, television, PS2 games & video editing.

I have also found time to attend college. The first year I took English, Maths and Study Skills at 'O' Level equivalent and Human Physiology & Health at 'A' Level equivalent. The next year I took a year off and then in 1997 I took Information Technology, also at 'A' Level equivalent and gained a distinction. My tutor told me that I had gained the highest mark nationally that year. The last course I took was the Cisco Networking Academy at West Kent College.

I am now self employed as a Computer Technician & have been since leaving a national computer company where I had been working for about two and a half years as a Senior Hardware/Software Technician for Kent & East Sussex, giving both hardware & software help to the company's customers.
